To this end, OPPQ monitors and controls its members\u2019 professional practices through the following means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>OPPQ uses admission<\/strong> as a framework for the licensing of physiotherapists and physiotherapy technologists. This ensures applicants have the training and skills necessary to practice their profession.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional enquiries<\/strong> are used to assess the professional practices of physiotherapists and physiotherapy technologists and ensure that OPPQ members are competent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Office of the Syndic<\/strong> intervenes if a physiotherapist or physiotherapy technologist violates the <a href=\"https:\/\/oppq.qc.ca\/document\/code-of-ethics-of-physical-therapist-and-p-r-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Code of Ethics<\/a>\u00a0or fails to comply with the regulations of the practice.<\/li>\n<li>The Legal Department investigates allegations of non-members <strong>practicing physiotherapy illegally<\/strong> or <strong>using a professional title without authorization<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ordre professionnel de la physioth\u00e9rapie du Qu\u00e9bec (OPPQ)\u2019s main mission is to protect citizens seeking the services of physiotherapists and physiotherapy technologists.
